I sometimes allow my madness to bleed into my writing. Ultraviolent Rodentia is a prime example. I sometimes base my stories off dreams, Death at Mrs. Robinson's Dinner Party is a good example. One of my close friends describes my short stories as "Twilight Zone" episodes. While I enjoy telling a surreal tale, I write more serious fiction as well.

My writing is key to my immortality, really. Nothing survives the ages like a good story.

I almost feel like writing was forced on me. I spent a year in a state hospital, and there is NOTHING to do in a state hospital. I developed a great love for writing, even if I knew I was just mentally masturbating. The two books I penned in that year are two of my readers' favorites. Some of the people who've read Juxta, Magi describe it as one of their favorite books of all time, and that is a nice compliment.

I have studied English at Sinclair Community College for over two years now. I study with published authors, Tim Waggoner and Ed Davis. I learned so much in school. Frankly, I learned about the short story, and found I really enjoy the short story format, while novels will always be my passion. I learned about plot twists too. I'd love to stay on at Sinclair and just study with Tim and Ed, but I asked Professor Waggoner wether I should move on to Wright State University, and he quite frankly said, "You want to study with as many different teachers as you can." So, I hope to attend WSU in the fall of 09. It'll mean setting an alarm and sleeping more at night, but I think I can do that.

My writing allows me to explore worlds, plots, and characters in my imagination. I can't wait to start my next novel project, but I don't know what that will be. I also intend to write more short stories. I may go back and make my first novel, The Vampire Menace, available for download, it's one of my favorite books, and everybody who read it enjoyed it thoroughly. There's also a war novel I wrote called RAECE, which is based on some of the wargames I developed, and while the plotline is essentially, "kill the aliens! kill the aliens!", most everyone who has read it says I should try and publish it, just for the glory of the slaughter.

The idea of writing books that end up in bookstores is a dream come true.

I have also found most literary agents and publishers want an Author Bio, and I have no choice but to include my disability in the bio, and that is something which I think turns off literary agents and publishers. They want to establish a working relationship, and most people have known Bi-Polars when they were sick, and they want nothing to do with a crazy person. Luckily for me, the Lithium-Depakote-Geodon cocktail works wonders for me, although we have cut out the Depakote, for a variety of reasons.
